The Libertines What a Waster

“What a Waster” is a song sung by The Libertines. It was their first single and was released on June 3, 2002. The song’s title is a reference to an excessive user of alcohol and/or drugs. It was initially left off of their debut album, Up The Bracket, though a later release of the album saw the song included.
“What a Waster” is not as recognized as some of The Libertines’ other songs because it is filled with profanity. As such it didn’t get much airtime on the radio and was subsequently unrecognized by most people.
The CD single also included “I Get Along” and “Mayday” while the 7″ record release only included “I Get Along”.
